Turkish champions Galatasaray are exploring an unprecedented, tech-powered solution in a bold attempt to keep Victor Osimhen at the club beyond his current loan spell, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian striker joined the Istanbul giants at the start of the season on a loan deal worth €9 million (₦15.8 billion), with Galatasaray holding a €66 million (₦116.1 billion) purchase option.

However, with Europe’s elite clubs — such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus — monitoring Osimhen's situation, Galatasaray are seeking creative means to finance what would be a record-breaking deal for Turkish football.

According to Turkish outlet Sabah as per A Spor, Galatasaray are turning to artificial intelligence to help fund the transfer.

The club is set to launch a cutting-edge AI-powered mobile application by the end of the season.

The app will offer a tiered membership system, including a premium package priced at 2,500 Turkish Lira (around ₦135,000), giving supporters exclusive perks such as access to training sessions, meet-and-greets with players, and other behind-the-scenes experiences.

Galatasaray are targeting 500,000 premium subscribers in the first phase alone, a move expected to generate substantial income. The club plans to use this revenue to cover the first instalment of Osimhen’s transfer fee, aiming to ease the financial burden of the €66 million deal.

Talks between Galatasaray and Napoli have already begun, with the Turkish side formally expressing their willingness to meet the Serie A club’s valuation.

Galatasaray have reportedly asked Napoli to consider their bid seriously in negotiations with other clubs, should the former Lille lad give the green light to remain in Istanbul.

The Super Lig giants are also working closely with Osimhen’s representatives. The 26-year-old is earning €10 million this season and is understood to be demanding a salary of €15 million annually should he make the move permanent.

Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has appointed three senior managers to oversee the deal, with the club now entering the final stretch of a high-stakes transfer saga.

Should Galatasaray succeed, this could be one of the most innovative transfer strategies in football history — powered not just by ambition, but by technology and fan engagement.

With 28 goals in 32 games, Osimhen is Galatasaray's top goalscorer this season and the third highest-scoring African in the club's history.
