Comoros, meanwhile, arrive after an extraordinary opening-round campaign in which they defeated Sudan 30-0 on aggregate, winning the first leg 17-0 before completing the job with a 13-0 victory in the return fixture.
The match is officially a home fixture for Comoros, but it will be played in Nigeria because the island nation does not have a CAF-approved venue for the tie.
Both legs will take place at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, with the return encounter scheduled for Tuesday, October 13.

Super Falcons seek strong start under Eguavoen
Nigeria received a bye into the second round because of their position among Africa’s highest-ranked teams. They must now defeat Comoros across two legs to advance to the next stage of the qualifying competition.
The Super Falcons are seeking a second consecutive Olympic appearance after returning to the women’s football tournament at Paris 2024, ending a 16-year absence.
Eguavoen has urged his players to focus on delivering a strong performance despite the changes to his squad.

The interim coach initially named 28 players for the assignment, including captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Jennifer Echegini and Toni Payne.
However, Asisat Oshoala, Ashleigh Plumptre and Oluwatosin Demehin are among the players unavailable for the tie. Benfica duo Demehin and Flourish Sabastine were residency-permit issues in Portugal, while Belarus-based forward Blessing Okpe was invited as a replacement for Oshoala.
Comoros arrive with confidence
Comoros will take encouragement from their dominant opening-round results against Sudan.
Their 30-0 aggregate victory secured a place in the second round and demonstrated their ability to score freely against weaker opponents.
Nigeria, though, will not cower. The Super Falcons have won the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations a record 10 times and possess players who compete at leading clubs across Europe and beyond.
The challenge for Comoros will be to show they can translate their attacking form from the clashes against Sudan into goals against the best team in African football.

With both matches being played in Ikenne, the Falcons have the benefit of familiarity with the venue. Nonetheless, they'll need to demonstrate their superiority on the pitch rather than rely on reputation alone.
