Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface have joined Odion Ighalo to hype Fola's new album, 9.
Fola has enjoyed a remarkable run in Nigerian Afrobeats. Although he has been on the scene for years, he reached mainstream acclaim in 2024 after his hit single “Alone.” Since then, he has been on a roll.
Last year, he dropped his debut studio album, Catharsis. That project featured songs like “Disco,” “Lost,” “You,” “Eko,” and several other standout tracks.

Among his peers in the Nigerian music industry, he is definitely one of the top artists, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. The 27-year-old University of Lagos graduate dropped his new album, 9, early on Friday morning, and it is already gaining a lot of traction.
This new project has 14 tracks and features other top music artists, including BNXN, Darkoo, Bella Shmurda, and Zlatan.
The album has even gained traction in the football ecosystem, as top Nigerian stars have endorsed it.

As of now, Catharsis has garnered over 300 million streams on Spotify. But Fola will be hoping that 9 does even better and continues to boost his career.
Meanwhile, Osimhen, Boniface, and Ighalo are popular social figures who are frequently seen with Nigerian artists and social media personalities.

For both active players, though, the season is still underway, and they are looking to secure silverware with their respective clubs. Osimhen has won back-to-back league titles, but he will be looking to add more trophies to his cabinet and expand his achievements.
Meanwhile, Ighalo appears to have stepped away from international football, even though he has never officially confirmed his retirement. He has remained unattached to any club since leaving Al-Wehda last year.
