Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to break the bank to secure Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, following the Nigerian striker’s sensational form in Turkey, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward joined the Turkish champions on loan from Napoli after a proposed move to Chelsea collapsed during the summer.
But since arriving in Istanbul, Osimhen has exceeded all expectations—netting 28 goals and providing five assists in just 32 appearances across all competitions.

The former Lille star’s electric performances have made him a fan favourite and a key figure in Galatasaray’s bid to retain the Turkish Super Lig title and win the domestic cup.
Now, the club’s top brass are determined to keep him in Istanbul beyond the summer window.

However, the task ahead is monumental.
Europe’s elite — including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea — are closely monitoring the striker’s situation, with all five clubs keen to sign him.
According to Spanish outlet AS as per Cumhuriyet, Galatasaray are preparing what would be the most expensive transfer in the club’s history to retain the Nigerian international.

Reports claim the Istanbul giants are ready to offer Napoli a staggering €70 million transfer fee and hand Osimhen a three-year contract worth €15 million net per season, plus performance-related bonuses.

The proposed salary package rivals those offered by top Premier League sides.
Arsenal’s highest earner, Kai Havertz, is on a gross annual wage of £14.5 million, while Chelsea’s best-paid player, Reece James, earns around £13 million.
Their top forward, Christopher Nkunku, reportedly takes home just over £10 million annually. At Manchester United, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes command £18.2 million and £15.6 million respectively.

Galatasaray’s bold proposal is also said to match the lucrative pay structures of Saudi Arabian clubs — highlighting how serious the Turkish side are about keeping the prolific Nigerian striker.
Yet for Osimhen, the decision is not purely financial. The former Wolfsburg star has repeatedly expressed his admiration for Premier League legend Didier Drogba and has often spoken of his dream to play in England. Staying in Turkey, at least for now, would mean shelving those aspirations.
Still, with his stock rising and goals flowing, Galatasaray are hoping the project — and the pay — will be enough to convince him to stay.
