Victor Osimhen could still leave Istanbul this summer despite both the Nigerian striker and Galatasaray repeatedly insisting that they want to continue their successful partnership, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old forward enjoyed another outstanding campaign in Turkey, scoring crucial goals as Galatasaray retained the Turkish Super Lig title and strengthened their position as the country's dominant force. His performances have only increased interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Galatasaray, however, have made their position crystal clear. Club president Dursun Özbek has publicly stated that the Turkish champions have no intention of selling one of their most valuable assets. Osimhen remains under contract until 2029 after Galatasaray completed a permanent deal worth around €75 million for the striker.

To discourage potential buyers, the Istanbul giants have reportedly placed a staggering €150 million valuation on the Super Eagles star. The figure is significantly above his estimated market value and is designed to keep elite clubs away from the negotiating table.
Osimhen has also done his part to cool speculation. The former Napoli forward recently urged supporters to disregard rumours linking him with a summer exit. Transfer talk intensified after Nigeria coach Eric Chelle suggested that Osimhen's absence from recent international friendlies was connected to transfer discussions.
The striker quickly moved to clear up the situation, insisting that Chelle's comments had been taken out of context and exaggerated. Sources close to the player say he remains extremely happy in Istanbul, where he enjoys a special relationship with Galatasaray supporters. Reports in Turkey indicate that Osimhen would only consider leaving if the club itself decided to move him on.

Victor Osimhen: Çakar explains when Galatasaray should sell
Despite the united front being shown by club and player, respected Turkish football figure Ahmet Çakar believes there is one situation in which Galatasaray should seriously consider cashing in on their star striker.
Çakar, a former international referee, doctor, broadcaster and one of the most recognised voices in Turkish football, discussed Osimhen's future on the Libero TV YouTube channel as per Habersarikirmizi.
While stressing that every player has a price, he argued that Galatasaray would be making a mistake if they rejected an extraordinary offer.
“There is no football player in the world who cannot be sold. Osimhen cost Galatasaray around 75 million Euros. If they sell him for 90 or 100 million Euros, I would say ‘You made a mistake.' I would say ‘You're fools if you're offered 130 million Euros and don't sell him.' Because you make a profit and you also get to use him for a year after acquiring his transfer rights. Then it's fine.”

Çakar's comments come as several leading European clubs continue to monitor developments closely.
Manchester United are believed to be searching for a proven goalscorer capable of transforming their attack. Arsenal remain admirers of Osimhen's physicality, movement and finishing ability, while Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to test Galatasaray's resolve with a substantial offer.
Barcelona continue to track the Nigerian international, although financial limitations remain a major obstacle. Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are also keeping a close watch on the situation as they assess attacking options ahead of the new season.
Galatasaray, though, hold all the cards. The club have a long-term contract in place, a player who says he is committed to staying, and a €150 million asking price that few teams can realistically afford.
Unless a club comes forward with a truly exceptional bid, or Osimhen personally requests a move, Galatasaray's stance remains unchanged: their star striker is not for sale.
