Osimhen leads Nigerian stars into Champions League battles against Barcelona, Arsenal, and Ajax

Nigeria's Victor Osimhen will once again carry Galatasaray’s hopes in front of goal when the Turkish champions travel to Amsterdam to face Ajax in a crucial UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 clash on Wednesday night, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Super Eagles forward has been in scintillating form since returning from injury and will be aiming to score in his third consecutive Champions League game.

The Istanbul giants endured a nightmare start to their group stage journey with a 5–1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt but have since found their rhythm, producing back-to-back wins.

Osimhen scored the decisive goal in a statement 1–0 victory over Liverpool. The Super Eagles striker followed that with a brilliant brace in a confident 3–1 triumph against Bodø/Glimt, results that have reignited their qualification hopes.

Beyond his goals, the Nigerian also delivered tireless displays and created key openings for teammates.

Despite a disrupted start to the season due to transfer speculation, fitness issues, and a brief injury layoff, Osimhen has quickly found his rhythm, scoring six times in 10 appearances across all competitions.
