Three-time UEFA Champions League winners, Manchester United, are considering making a move for Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder has racked up over 300 appearances for the Foxes, scoring 18 goals, providing 22 assists and winning the FA Cup and EFL Championship titles.
Upon Leicester's relegation to the second tier of English Football, Ndidi is looking to exit the King Power Stadium, and is available this summer for a fee of £9m.

However, they face tough competition from Atletico Madrid and Everton, who are also interested in the services of the former KRC Genk midfielder.
Former Manchester United boss, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, once praised Ndidi's performance at Old Trafford against the Reds.
“You’ve seen the game, the way he played, the way he lifted the team, on the ball, off the ball. His performance was excellent, but also his leadership.
“Not only the captain’s armband he wore, the way he led the team, the way he demanded from his surroundings, coaching, talking, and preventing situations from occurring.
“I thought Bouba [Soumare] and Wilf had a great partnership today on the ball but also off the ball to control the game,” the ex-Real Madrid striker said as previously reported by Soccernet.ng.

Should Manchester United sign Ndidi?
When the winter transfer window opens, Wilfred Ndidi will be 29 years old, and an opportunity to play for a club of Manchester United's stature cannot be passed up, as it might never come up again for him.
Should the move happen, he'll become the second Nigerian to don the jersey of the Reds after Odion Ighalo.
Ndidi has the quality to play for any team in the Premier League, alongside the versatility to play in defence and midfield. Given his asking price, a deal for him seems like a no-brainer for Ruben Amorim's side, and his wage demands aren't overboard.

Manchester United finished in 15th place on the English Premier League table, and they need quality signings this summer in order to bounce back. Apart from strengthening the defensive unit, they should look to bring in a reliable striker, a wide player and a defensive midfielder.
Ndidi is an ideal fit for the Record English Premier League Champions and will provide squad depth for Ruben Amorim, helping them reduce their number of injuries.
United spent €60m on Manuel Ugarte last summer, but will spend considerably less to bring an arguably better player if they go ahead to secure Ndidi.
