Osimhen has been one of the best players in the world in the last two years, and many defenders dread facing him
Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-Jae has revealed that he never wants to play against Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet reports.
Min-Jae just sealed a transfer to German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich from Napoli for €50million this summer.
The South Korea international only just joined the Partenopeans from Fenerbahce last summer, but his brilliance earned him a move to Munich.
The 26-year-old centre-defender was a mainstay in the Napoli defence, playing an important role in their Serie A victory and their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal finish.
Min-Jae has revealed that Osimhen contributed a lot to his growth. However, he does not want to ever play against the Super Eagles star.
“I would never want to see Osimhen on the opposing team”, Min-Jae said per Napoli Magazine.
“He’s good, and he manages to be ‘overbearing’ with the defenders. Even if the defender is far away, he chases and harasses him to the end.
“I learned a lot by watching him play diligently in every match, even if he couldn’t rest at all. He always trained with the same intensity as if he was playing a match.”
Both players cannot face each this season in the Champions League because Bayern Munich and Napoli won their leagues last season.
