Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke looks increasingly likely to leave Sevilla during the 2026 summer transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Spanish club has already identified Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza as the player they want to bring in as his replacement, according to Ficherio.
Ejuke, whose contract with Sevilla runs until June 2027, is one of several players – including compatriot Akor Adams – the club is willing to sell as part of a major squad overhaul ahead of the new La Liga season.
The Nigerian international has struggled to become a regular starter since arriving in Spain. Over the past two seasons, he has often been used from the bench and has not produced the level of goals and assists expected from an attacking winger.

Sevilla's decision is also driven by financial reasons. Club officials want to reduce the wage bill and generate transfer income to help reshape the squad. Selling Ejuke this summer would also avoid the risk of seeing his market value drop further before the final year of his contract.
According to Transfermarkt, the 28-year-old is valued at around €4 million. Despite Sevilla's plans to sell him, Ejuke reported early for the club's pre-season medical tests after cutting short his holiday while his representatives continue talks over a possible transfer.
His situation has attracted interest from across Europe. Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are believed to be leading the race for his signature, while Premier League side Fulham, newly promoted Sunderland and Leeds United as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia have all been linked with the Super Eagles winger.

Super Eagles star Ejuke replacement: Sevilla turn to Bayern's Zaragoza
As preparations continue for Ejuke's departure, Sevilla have stepped up their interest in Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza, who spent last term on loan at AS Roma.
The Spanish international is understood to have made Sevilla his preferred destination despite interest from other clubs. However, the two teams are still discussing the structure of the deal.
Bayern Munich would prefer to sell Zaragoza permanently as they continue trimming their squad and wage bill. Sevilla, on the other hand, are pushing for a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the campaign. Reports suggest Bayern are even willing to pay part of the player's salary to help complete the move.

Sevilla see Zaragoza as an ideal replacement because of his pace, dribbling ability and attacking style, qualities that fit the team's plans under the new coaching setup.
However, the transfer has not yet been completed because Sevilla are carefully reviewing the winger's medical records. Zaragoza missed more than two months last season because of serious knee inflammation and found it difficult to earn regular playing time during his loan spell away from Bayern.
The club wants to be completely satisfied that the 24-year-old has fully recovered before making a formal offer.
Sevilla also face competition from fellow La Liga clubs Deportivo Alavés and Espanyol. Alavés have reportedly held the most advanced discussions with Bayern, while Espanyol remain ready to move if negotiations with Sevilla break down.
