The Super Eagles striker has been one of the best in Europe this season, and Lyon want to add him to their roster

Former Ligue 1 champions Lyon have joined the race to sign Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi from Lorient.

Moffi has been an absolute stunner this season. The Nigerian striker has registered twelve goals in 18 league games this season. He has more goals than Lionel Messi and Neymar in Ligue 1.

The only player that has more goals than Moffi in France is Kylian Mbappe who has 13.

Moffi’s brilliance has not gone unnoticed, as Soccernet has reported that some clubs are keeping tabs on him. Southampton, West Ham, and Everton have emerged as possible destinations.

Also, French side Nice have initiated talks with Lorient. According to fresh reports from L’equippe, Lyon have also thrown their hat into the ring. The former Ligue 1 kings want Moffi in exchange for Romain Faivre + cash with Lorient.

Lorient are demanding €25 million for their star man, and with Moffi’s Premier League links, Lyon would have to provide a good fee.
