The Nigerian forward’s impressive play, has made numerous English Premier League teams, including Southampton, clamour for his talent.
Southampton is eyeing Nigerian attacker Terem Moffi as they attempt to bolster their line-up.
The 23-year-old is still likely to end up in England, based on prior reports that many English teams, including Aston Villa, Everton, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth, seem to be interested in signing the young talent.
The Saints would be willing to compete with these clubs to recruit the Nigerian international, according to the Athletic.

However, according to a different report, French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain seemed to be keeping tabs on the former Kortrijk transfer scenario.
The Calabar-born player has 10 goals in 15 domestic league games for FC Lorient, and numerous teams, including Southampton, who are eager to add another Nigerian to their team, have taken notice of his strong play.
Recalling that Joe Aribo, another Super Eagles comrade, signed with the Saints last summer would appear to be the ideal strategy for Aribo to persuade his countryman to join Nathan Jone’s squad.
The Merlucciidaes has a contract with the striker to him down at the Stade du Moustoir until 2024, but they could be willing to let him go for 35 million euros or more if another club offered a comparable price.
Moffi, who is valued at £15 million, has scored 32 goals since moving from Kortrijk to Lorient and he has also made his debut for the Super Eagles, scoring three goals in nine games.
