As Super Eagles prepare to clash against the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Oran on Tuesday, a number of players will be looking to make their debut
After about a week of full camping, the Super Eagles will face Algeria in an international friendly.
The Super Eagles had played a 2-2 draw against an Algeria B team last Friday in a test game.
With new invitations handed to some players, we may see more debutants under Jose Peseiro.
Recall that the Portuguese coach had handed Super Eagles debut to a number of NPFL players in his first two games in charge of the Nigerian national team with Chiamaka Madu, Ishaq Rafiu, Victor Mbaoma and others all getting their bows.
Against Algeria, some players are expected to join the growing list of national team debutantes as new players are in camp.

The players who may play their first official game for Nigeria against Algeria are;
- Rivers United’s Ebube Duru
- Hapoel Jerusalem’s Adebayo Adeleye
- Club Brugge’s Ralph Onyedika
- Casa Pia’s Saviour Godwin
All four players featured either as starters or second half substitutes against the Algerian home-based team with Godwin particularly catching the eye from the wings.
With Ndidi’s absence, Onyedika is also expected to feature at some point in the game while Duru may also get a nod later on.
Adeleye is also in line to start in goal or feature in the game after coming on as a second half substitute against the Algerians in the test game.
