Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has not been paid his monthly salary for the last two months, Complete Sports reports.
A close source to the Coach revealed that the refusal by the Nigeria Football Federation to pay Keshi is part of a plot to frustrate Keshi out of the job.“If they (the NFF) want to sack Keshi for a breach of contract, who has breached the contract signed two months ago?” the source said. “He hasn’t been paid for two months.”
Keshi’s relationship with the NFF has been strained lately, with the governing body allegedly issuing the coach with a query for including a non-league player in the squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

The former Nigeria captain was also linked with interest in the Cote d’Ivoire job after being shortlisted for the position. He however denied having applied.
Keshi only recently returned as Nigeria coach after his appointed was terminated following the team’s failure to qualify for the 2015 AFCON.
