West Ham are in a four-club race for Nigerian winger Daniel Job, with Lecce, Anderlecht and German side Cologne also interested in the 20-year-old, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Hammers have made a formal €4m offer for Job, according to reports published this week. Kongsvinger are asking for about €4m plus possible add-ons for the player, who joined the Norwegian club in February.
Why Job is wanted by West Ham, Lecce
Job has built his reputation in Norway after moving from Nigerian academy Future Pro to Sarpsborg 08 in 2024. He scored 10 goals in 15 matches for Sarpsborg's second team that year before moving into senior football.
He joined Kongsvinger in February 2026 and has made a strong start in the Norwegian second tier. The club's official figures list seven goals and seven assists in 15 league appearances. FotMob estimates is current transfer value at a little over half a million euros.
Job's form includes a goal in Kongsvinger's 6-1 win at Sandnes Ulf on 26 July. He also scored and assisted in a 5-1 victory over Sogndal on 3 July.
Lecce have already tested Kongsvinger's resolve. The Serie A club reportedly offered €2.5m plus €500,000 in add-ons, but the bid was rejected. Kongsvinger want the guaranteed €4m valuation before considering a sale.

Anderlecht have known about Job since his Sarpsborg days and made an offer in 2025, while Cologne have also joined the current race.
The decision now faces Kongsvinger and Job as several European clubs compete for a winger who can play on either flank or through the middle. His preferred role is on the left, where his right foot allows him to cut inside and attack the goal.
