Super Eagles attacker Samuel Chukwueze has revealed his biggest challenge under new AC Milan coach Ruben Amorim, Soccernet.ng reports.
Chukwueze spent last season on loan at Premier League club Fulham, and after a decent spell there, he was expected to remain in London, having even informed the club of his desire to stay.
However, they ultimately decided against signing him. Despite having two years left on his contract, AC Milan were expected to sell him due to his struggles during his first two seasons at the club.
Nevertheless, during his opening press conference upon being appointed as AC Milan coach, Amorim confirmed that he intends to keep the 27-year-old Super Eagles star.

Because the Portuguese tactician is known for operating a 3-4-3 formation, it was widely believed that Chukwueze would be deployed as a wing-back. That is exactly what has happened, with the Nigerian winger featuring for at least 45 minutes in all of the Rossoneri's pre-season fixtures.

”Yes, even though it's a position I need to adapt to because I've never played in this role in my career,” Chukwueze told Gazzetta.
”As a footballer, if a coach wants you to play in a certain position, you have to do it by believing in yourself and in the coach, because he knows what he wants.
”So, I just need to keep committing, believing in myself, and knowing that I can do it. For me, it's an opportunity I have to seize. I know it's a difficult task, but I believe in myself. I know I can do it, I can do anything.
”I like how the team is playing. For me, I think it's something I need to work on.
”It's the first time I'm playing in this position, so I'm continuing to work hard. I need to improve with every training session. I think the technical staff are helping me.
”The coach is also helping me. Every time I make a mistake, he tells me: ‘Oh, Chukwueze, this is what you need to do.' So, I think I'll improve before the start of the season.”
