Super Eagles and Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka is set to depart the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford till the end of the season, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been subject to just 88 minutes of playing time in the English Premier League this season, starting just one game under Keith Andrews.
Valencia and Sheffield United were linked with the former FC Augsburg midfielder, but it was Frank Lampard's Coventry City that secured his services.

Frank Onyeka set to join Coventry City on loan
Soccernet.ng previously reported that the Bees were stalling talks about Onyeka's exit, largely because they were looking for a replacement.
However, Coventry kept knocking, and their persistence, alongside the midfielder's willingness to leave, has accelerated the deal.

As per Fabrizio Romano, the AFCON 2023 finalist is set to join the Sky Blues on loan till the end of the season, with the option to buy included.

Onyeka's contract with Brentford runs out in the summer of 2027, and with his market value earmarked at €7m, Coventry could cop him up for less when his loan deal ends.
Coventry City are currently top of the EFL Championship, although they've seen their lead reduced from five points to just goal difference.
Middlesbrough are a close second, and to avoid a slip-up, Frank Lampard is seeking experienced players to help put his side over the line in the race for promotion.

Onyeka can make his debut for Coventry on Wednesday when his new team take on Oxford United in the EFL Championship.
He'll become the fourth Nigerian to play for the one-time FA Cup winners after Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Dele Adebola, and Bright Enobakhare.
