Fulham and Wales midfielder Harry Wilson has praised Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi for his brilliant pass in the loss to Crystal Palace yesterday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Marco Silva's men welcomed Palace to Craven Cottage for a tier-2 London derby, but it was the away side who took the lead on the hour mark through Eddie Nketiah.
Alex Iwobi played in a midfield pivot alongside Sander Berge, away from the more-attacking positions he's used to.
However, a moment of brilliance in the 37th minute from the Super Eagles star led to Fulham's equaliser. His pocket pass found Raul Jimenez on the edge of Crystal Palace's box.

The Mexican striker exchanged passes with Harry Wilson before the Welshman scored a brilliant goal with the outside of his left foot, curling the ball past Dean Henderson to level the scores.

The former Liverpool winger's goal is a contender for the goal of the season, but he mentioned it wouldn't have come together without Iwobi's pass.
“It would've felt a lot nicer if the goal had led to three points. Still, it was a well-worked goal,” the 28-year-old said in an interview posted on Fulham's official website.

“Alex's pass into me was great. I knew Raul was there for the one around the corner, and he gave me a perfect ball back for me to just use the outside of my left foot to find the far corner.
“It was a good goal, one I quite enjoyed. I'm just gutted it didn't lead to anything.
Disallowed goal crushed Fulham's spirits
Emile Smith-Rowe thought he'd given the home side the lead in the second half, but the goal was ruled out after Samuel Chukwueze was caught offside.
Fulham's coach, Marco Silva, felt the decision was unfair as Samuel Chukwueze's toenail couldn't have been any shorter, and Wilson agreed.
“I looked and saw how small the margins were [The disallowed goal due to Chukwueze being offside].
“The margins either get you the win or make you lose points. Sometimes it goes for you, and sometimes it goes against you.
“When the margins are that small, and they go against you, it really hurts because I think it was a well-worked goal down the left.
“Alex is unlucky with the header, and Emile follows it up really well. he deserved the goal, and again, fine margins, it's a tough one to take,” the one-time EFL Championship winner concluded.
The Cottagers have a strong run of games ahead. Their next six Premier League fixtures will be played against Burnley, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Liverpool on New Year's Day.
