Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has hailed former Arsenal man Alexis Sánchez's impact at Sevilla since the Chilean joined the club during the summer transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
Sevilla were very active during the summer transfer window, as they brought in some players and also let some others go.
One of their new arrivals was former Arsenal man Sánchez, who they signed as a free agent after he left Udinese at the end of last season.
The 36-year-old is considered one of the best wingers to grace the game, having played for big clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Inter Milan.
In terms of achievement and stature, he is unarguably the biggest player at the club, and he is certainly no stranger to Spanish football.
The Chilean has registered two goals and one assist in eight appearances for Los Nervionenses this season.
Super Eagles striker Adams has formed a good relationship with Sánchez and is quite appreciative of the veteran's influence.
Sevilla lock horns with Real Betis this weekend at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Ahead of the crucial match, Adams spoke about how much of an impact Sánchez has had away from his goals and assists.

“For us, it's a pleasure to have a player of his calibre and to spend everyday with him in the same locker room, more than 6-7 hours everyday. We sit side by side, we talk a lot, we share experiences,” Adams told Sporty TV.
“He has seen the game, all of it, I've learnt a lot. He's a veteran in the game, and for me, it's positive, even for the other players.”
Akor Adams Up For Big Test Against Betis
Real Betis are fifth in the Spanish Laliga this season, and they will surely give Sevilla a big run for their money when both teams square off at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Saturday.
It is unknown whether coach Matias Almeyda will start Akor Adams. But the Super Eagles star will likely get minutes.
Scoring against Betis would definitely do him a big favour with coach Almeyda. It will also give him a confidence boost going into the next set of games.
He will be hoping to get amongst the goals and help his team claim the victory on Sunday.
