Super Eagles star Victor Boniface gas finally spoken up after his failed move to AC Milan…

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has maintained that he remains confident in his abilities despite his failed transfer to Serie A giants AC Milan, Soccernet.ng reports.

Boniface's move to AC Milan has gained a lot of traction over the last four days.

Last Wednesday, news broke that Boniface was closing in on a transfer to AC Milan. As of Thursday, it looked like the deal was set, and conversations about his potential jersey number had even started.

However, the controversy started after reports emerged on Saturday that AC Milan wanted to call off the deal due to Boniface's bad injury history.

For context, at just 24 years of age, the Super Eagles star has suffered two anterior cruciate ligament injuries - an injury that most athletes dread due to the recovery time and the possibility of never reaching their previous best.

The uncertainty surrounding his transfer dragged on until Sunday afternoon, when it was confirmed that AC Milan had pulled out of the deal.

Boniface's issue has caused a big controversy, especially among some Nigerian fans, who have been highly critical about his online antics.

However, amid all the madness, Boniface seems to be calm. But this was after an outburst on social media, where he called out Nigerian fans who wrongly criticized him for being unprofessional and unserious with his career.

The Italian journalist misconstrued Boniface post and captioned it as a message to Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan.

But the Super Eagles sent him a message to clear the air about the post. Boniface warned Fabrizio to take the post down, which the Italian journalist did.

Victor Boniface “Not panicking” Despite AC Milan Episode

Now that the AC Milan episode is over, the Super Eagles star and his management team have to start exploring other options.

Apparently, Bayer Leverkusen coach Erik Ten Hag does not favour him. So he might have to leave Die Werkself for a club where he is assured of regular game time.
