Super Eagles legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has weighed in on the speculations around Victor Osimhen’s future, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen's future is still one of the hottest subjects in the transfer market this summer. The Super Eagles star is in a tight situation.
He wants to leave Napoli for the English Premier League, but he is yet to get offers from there. Meanwhile, Galatasaray, where he shone while on loan last season, also want to sign him permanently and are willing to give him a significant salary bump.
Osimhen also has offers from Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal, who are offering a jaw-dropping contract.
As it is, the 26-year-old striker is at crossroads. It is surprising that a player of his quality, who has proven to be a premium goalscorer, is having such a protracted transfer. It is almost impossible to point to a particular destination for the former Lille man.
In a related development, former Super Eagles midfielder Okocha has spoken about Osimhen's issue.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt man was coy about telling Osimhen which club to join. However, Okocha urged him to move to a club where he would be visible to his fans.

“The decision will be his of course. But we as his fans, will love to have the opportunity to be watching him week-in week-out,” Okocha said.
“So wherever he decides to go, we still love him. But we would love to be seeing him. I cannot tell him where to go, I'm not his manager.”
The only leagues that Osimhen would join to give him the kind of visibility that Okocha is talking about are the English Premier League and the LaLiga. And since no Spanish club has been linked with Osimhen, the Premier League is the only option.
The Super Eagles star will hope to get his transfer done and sorted as soon as possible so that he can focus on his football.
