President of Galatasaray Football Club, Dusun Ozbek, has made a bold claim about his club's pursuit of Super Eagles striker, Victor James Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen joined the Turkish side on a season-long loan from Napoli last September, and immediately hit the ground running at RAMS Park.
The addition of the 26-year-old to Okan Buruk's side saw the Turkish Super Lig Champions win on all grounds domestically, while the Napoli loanee didn't do badly for himself, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 games across all competitions.

In what was a shocking turn of events, the former LOSC Lille striker rejected the offer, hinting he wants to remain in Europe. As reported by Soccernet.ng, Galatasaray and Juventus are now firmly in the race for the 2023 CAF Player of the Year following his ‘no' to Simeone Inzaghi's side.
Galatasaray are doing everything to meet the wage demands of the one-time Scudetto winner, and now, their President has assured the CimBom Aslan fans of good news next week, appearing seemingly confident of tying Osimhen down in Turkey.
“Victor Osimhen is staying at Galatasaray. His affection will be the most important factor. The negotiations are ongoing. We hope to give you good news in a week,” President Dursun Özbek said in quotes revealed by Hurriyet.
