Victor Osimhen will not leave Europe for Saudi Arabia this summer after the Super Eagles star's latest decision regarding a move to Al-Hilal, Soccernet.ng reports.

According to Football Italia, 2023 Africa Footballer of the Year Osimhen has turned down a staggering €30 million-a-year offer from Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal.

The Nigerian striker, who spent a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray from Napoli last season, was a top target for Al-Hilal ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup kicking off June 14.

The Saudi side, coached by former Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi, had met Osimhen’s €75 million release clause and were confident of landing the deal.

However, the 26-year-old declined the lucrative package — worth approximately £25.3 million annually — in a decision described as “definitive.”

Osimhen scored 37 goals in 41 appearances for Galatasaray during the 2024–25 campaign, sparking widespread interest across Europe.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Juventus are reportedly among those closely monitoring the striker’s situation.

Chelsea appear to be out of the race after signing Englishman Liam Delap from Ipswich Town while Arsenal could be prioritising other targets.

While Liverpool and Manchester United do not appear eager to match Osimhen’s salary demands, the Super Eagles striker has his heart firmly set on staying in Europe.

Osimhen finished the 2024-2025 season has Nigeria’s most prolific forward in Europe with 37 goals and eight assists in all competitions for Galatasaray.

He also won the Turkish Goal King award with 26 goals, becoming the first Nigerian in history to claim the Super Lig's top goalscorer honour.
