Two Super Eagles heroes have featured prominently in an official Everton club video as the Toffees prepare to bid an emotional farewell to Goodison Park after more than a century, Soccernet.ng reports.

Alex Iwobi and Daniel Amokachi have their stunning strikes included as Everton celebrate the iconic ground with a video tribute highlighting its best-ever Premier League goals.

Iwobi’s dramatic 99th-minute winner against Newcastle United in March 2022 and Daniel Amokachi’s thunderous strike against the same opposition in April 1995 were both named in Everton’s official “Best-Ever Premier League Goals at Goodison Park” showcase.

The video forms part of a farewell celebration for the club’s historic home, which has hosted the Toffees since 1892.

Ahead of their move to the new 52,000-capacity Hill Dickinson Stadium for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, the Merseyside club compiled 60 unforgettable goals scored on Goodison’s hallowed turf.

Included in the compilation are memorable finishes from legends such as Wayne Rooney, Duncan Ferguson, Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Seamus Coleman, and Kevin Campbell.

Iwobi’s match-winning effort stands out not just for its technical execution but for its critical timing in Everton’s relegation battle during the 2021/22 season.

The Nigerian winger applied the finishing touch to a fantastic team move that also involved full-back Seamus Coleman and English forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The goal was a defining moment in Iwobi’s Everton career, which began with a £28 million move from Arsenal in August 2019. He went on to earn praise for his creativity and work ethic, winning Everton's Players' Player of the Season in 2022–23 after registering eight assists. Iwobi eventually joined Fulham in September 2023.

Meanwhile, Amokachi’s inclusion highlights his cult-hero status at Goodison Park.

Signed from Club Brugge in 1994 after shining at the World Cup for Nigeria, Amokachi delivered some unforgettable moments in Everton blue. His fierce strike against Newcastle was one of them.

But it was the Super Eagles legend's heroics in the 1995 FA Cup semi-final — when he famously substituted himself on and scored twice against Spurs — that immortalised him among Everton fans.

Despite netting 33 goals in all competitions for Everton, Yakubu Aiyegbeni was surprisingly left out of the club's final selection. None of Joseph Yobo's ten goals, Ademola Lookman's four goals, and Victor Anichebe's 26 goals also made the top list.
