Having scored seven goals and provided nine assists in all competitions, the Nigerian forward has piqued the interest of the English club, who are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the coming season

The 28-year-old has been one of Nigeria’s most consistent performers in recent years and could follow in the footsteps of fellow Super Eagles star, Alex Iwobi, who previously played for the Merseyside club before joining Fulham.

Everton are believed to be exploring wide attacking options, and Simon’s experience makes him a strong candidate to bolster their frontline.

No official approach has been made yet, but the interest from the Premier League side could develop further as the transfer window draws closer.
