Galatasaray are planning an extravagant multi-day celebration that could shape the future of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with club officials hoping a spectacular show will convince the forward to commit his future to the Turkish giants, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Istanbul-based club are eyeing a title-clinching win against Kayserispor at the RAMS Park in Istanbul on Sunday. If they secure the Super Lig crown, the festivities will culminate in a major event on 25 May at Yenikapı Square — one of the city’s most iconic open-air spaces, according to the Milliyet.
Organisers anticipate up to one million supporters at the party, which will include fireworks, concerts, light shows, and specially designed visuals themed around Galatasaray’s potential fifth star — a symbolic marker of 25 league titles.
Galatasaray have reportedly applied to the Istanbul Governor’s Office for permission to host the event, which will be free for fans.
The club has also requested that their penultimate league match of the season against Göztepe be moved from Saturday, May 24, to allow the squad to participate in the celebration without conflict.

Galatasaray fans have flooded social media with nearly a million posts urging the striker to stay — and now plan to continue their campaign in person with chants and banners at the event.
Meanwhile, ticket demand for the title-deciding clash against Kayserispor has exploded. Only 7,000 – 8,000 tickets were available, yet over 100,000 applications were submitted. Black market activity has surged, with ticket prices reportedly climbing to as high as 60,000 Turkish lira.
In preparation for title night, Galatasaray have added a fifth star to their current jersey stock and will immediately put them on sale should they clinch the championship. Club officials are optimistic that this move will help them reach their ambitious target of one million shirt sales this season.
