Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has firmly dismissed widespread speculation linking Victor Osimhen with a move to the Turin giants, insisting there is “no deal in the works” for the prolific Nigerian forward, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in sensational form in the Turkish Super Lig, scoring 33 goals in 38 appearances.

His performances have drawn interest from top clubs across Europe, and recent reports in Italy had suggested Juventus were preparing to bring him back to Serie A as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.

However, Giuntoli has poured cold water on the rumours.

“I am not interested in Osimhen,” he told reporters. “The rumours that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us. Juventus does not want the player.”

The response comes after Tuttosport journalist Raffaele Auriemma claimed that a deal had been agreed between Osimhen and Juventus, with an €85 million bid already submitted for the Super Eagles striker. But Giuntoli’s comments now appear to firmly reject that narrative.

Juventus have reportedly been searching for a high-profile forward, particularly with Vlahovic’s future uncertain. The Serbian has struggled for form this season, and unless he signs a new contract, he is expected to depart in the summer — sparking suggestions that Osimhen was the club’s top target.

Yet Osimhen’s situation is complex.

The Super Eagles striker's current deal with Napoli runs until June 2026 and reportedly includes a €75 million release clause — but that fee only applies to clubs outside Italy.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is unlikely to sanction a move to a direct Serie A rival like Juventus unless a much higher fee is tabled.

Despite that, Osimhen’s value continues to rise. The former African Footballer of the Year won the Scudetto with Napoli and has enhanced his reputation further in Turkey. He has expressed his admiration for Galatasaray, where he could finish the season as both champion and top scorer.

Napoli, anticipating his departure, signed Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea as his replacement last year.

Osimhen’s proven goal record across Belgium, France, Italy, and now Turkey, makes him one of the most in-demand strikers on the European market. But for now, Juventus appear to be out of the race.
