Wolfsburg are leading the race to sign Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi this summer — but they could face stiff competition from Premier League clubs for the Viktoria Plzeň forward, Soccernet.ng reports.

Durosinmi had been close to joining Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2023, but the move collapsed after medical checks revealed a knee issue.

Now fully fit, Durosinmi is making up for lost time with a string of eye-catching performances for Viktoria Plzeň.
The powerful striker marked his return with two goals against Teplice in the Czech top flight before scoring in both legs of Plzeň's Europa Conference League tie against Ferencváros.
His hot streak continued with a goal against Lazio in the Europa League on Thursday night — a towering header from Lukáš Kalvach's cross — taking his tally to five goals and an assist in his last six games.
According to reports in the Czech Republic, Wolfsburg are leading the chase for Durosinmi's signature, having previously expressed interest in the striker before his injury setback.
