According to reports from Spain, the Yellow Submarine have submitted their first offer to Almeria
Villarreal have submitted an offer for Umar Sadiq but Almeria are holding out for €30m.
The Super Eagles star was earlier in the week rumoured to have agreed a deal with an unnamed Bundesliga team, later believed to be Borussia Dortmund but that report has since been denied.
According to Espana, Villarreal’s offer wasn’t acceptable for Almeria and it was rejected.
The forward is keen on a move but the Almeria coaching team wants to have him for at least another season in the Spanish top flight.
The 25-year-old attacker has scored 41 goals and assisted 19 times since he joined Almeria in the Segunda division and has now powered them to the La Liga.
He is regarded as one of the hottest properties in the lower teams of Spanish football at the moment and is expected to jump ship when a good offer comes.
The player has already left his former house according to reports as he’s keen on sealing a move to another La Liga club or abroad.
