Report: Super Eagles star close to sealing N12.7bn Bundesliga move

The lanky Super Eagles star has been linked with a move away from his Spanish club all summer

Almeria forward, Umar Sadiq is on the verge of completing a €30m switch to the Bundesliga.

Sadiq has starred for Almeria for consecutive seasons and has scored 38 goals in 74 La Liga 2 appearances, also nicking 19 assists in the process.

According to local and international sources, Almeria received a bid they couldn't reject on Tuesday and the player’s agent has convinced them to allow the player go.

Sources close to the deal have revealed the money could rise to €35m with conditions attached to the payments.

Futbol Fantasy also revealed that the player has already left his house at El Toyo and didn't renew his rent, and it’s believed to be in preparation for a move to Germany and the announcement will be made in a couple of days.

A €25m had been initially submitted by the unnamed club, according to Futbol Fantasy and which Soccernet has gathered is Borussia Dortmund, but Almeria held out for €30m which they value the player at.

Sadiq’s wages are also expected to improve significantly and he will have the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his career.
