The Super Eagles golden boy is attracting interest from top sides in Europe with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool weighing up a move for the 20-year-old.
According to the Dailymail, Liverpool are considering making an offer Samuel Chukwueze who is also attracting interest from Lyon.
The Nigeria international is one of the best young talents in Europe right now, and it is not a surprise he’s attracting interest from Europe’s best.
Since his breakthrough with Villarreal last season, Chukwueze profile has continued to be on the rise with the 20-year-old making his Super Eagles debut and also finishing 9th in the Kopa trophy award.
He has made 18 appearances for the Yellow Submarines this season, scoring three goals and providing the same number of assists. He recently signed a new deal at the club with a release clause of 100m euros, but according to reports, Villarreal are willing to part with him for less than that.
According to footmercato, Lyon who are also interested have been put off by Chukwueze’s price tag, but it has now been revealed that Villarreal are willing to let him leave for £34m, and Liverpool are considering making an offer.
The Reds have already signed Minamino from Salzburg, but it appears they are not done as Klopp plans to build a Liverpool side that will dominate for years.
