Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho continued his stunning start to life at Turkish side Bursaspor as they recorded an emphatic 4-0 win over Istanbulspor on Thursday night, Soccernet.ng reports.
Iheanacho completed a surprise move to Bursaspor earlier in the summer after his contract with Scottish champions Celtic expired at the end of last season, with the club failing to renew his deal.
The 29-year-old opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time to put his side ahead before Halil Akbunar added another goal. An own goal from Duran Sahin then put Bursaspor three goals up after the break.
Iheanacho completed his brace in the 77th minute to round off the scoring as Bursaspor sealed a comfortable 4-0 victory. The result moved them up to second on the standings, just one point behind the leaders after five rounds of matches.

Bursaspor vs Istanbulspor: How the game was played
Bursaspor went into the match looking to continue their superb start to the season, while Istanbulspor had picked up just two points from their opening four games and were languishing in the relegation zone.
The first half looked set to end goalless until Iheanacho struck on the stroke of half-time. The Super Eagles striker received the ball on the edge of the box, cut inside onto his left foot and fired past the defenders into the near corner.
Akbunar doubled Bursaspor's advantage before Sahin turned the ball into his own net while attempting to prevent a pass from reaching Iheanacho seven minutes after the hour mark.
