Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has recently been linked with a transfer to former Saudi Arabian champions Al Hilal this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Over the last two years, the 27-year-old striker has attracted attention from several clubs. And it is not much of a surprise, as he has been brilliant since his days at Napoli and now at Galatasaray.
This summer, clubs like Tottenham, Barcelona, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, and Chelsea have been linked with the Nigerian striker. But none of them have made a decisive move to snap him up yet.

But as all the talk has gone on, Galatasaray have been clear that they do not want to part ways with their top Nigerian marksman. Even the player has admitted that he is very happy in Istanbul and loves the atmosphere there.
However, with the transfer market still open for a few more weeks, a move cannot be ruled out.
Are Al Hilal Really Interested in Victor Osimhen?

According to several reports today, Osimhen is a target for Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. This has sparked quite a buzz.
But this is not really the first time they have been linked with the Nigerian striker. In his last season at Napoli, the club tried to sign him, but they did not succeed.
Now, the fresh links between the two parties have sparked a buzz. According to Sacha Tavolieri, the former Saudi Pro League champions have sent in a bid, which Galatasaray have rejected.
✅🔴🟡 After receiving the approach from Al-Hilal, confirming our information from this morning on @SkySportCH, Galatasaray responded to the Saudi club that they have no intention of selling Victor Osimhen. More to follow. #mercato #SPL pic.twitter.com/3k8k0tnVu9

But it might not really be true. This is because top transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has reiterated that Al Hilal are actually not interested in Osimhen right now. Instead, they are looking at another marksman, whom he failed to name.
There’s nothing between Osimhen and Al Hilal. Zero. Hilal target is another one. 😉

So, it appears that some of the updates concerning the Super Eagles star and the Saudi Pro League club might be false. At the moment, it also makes sense, as Saudi Arabian clubs have reduced the amount they spend on big-money transfers.
How Much Will It Cost to Land Victor Osimhen?

Galatasaray paid €75 million for Victor Osimhen last summer. But his actual value on Transfermarkt is €80 million at the moment.
Although Galatasaray have consistently insisted that they are unwilling to sell the Super Eagles star, it appears they might budge if they receive an offer of around €150 million.
Osimhen still has three years left on his contract at Galatasaray, with his deal expiring in 2029. So long as he continues performing well for Galatasaray, the speculation will definitely continue.
