Millwall head coach Alex Neil has provided an update on the availability of Super Eagles forward Femi Azeez ahead of their Championship clash against Norwich City on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Lions will welcome Norwich to The Den for their first home league game of the season as they look to build on their impressive 2-0 win over Bristol City in their opening game.
Millwall narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season after losing to Hull City in the playoff semi-finals, but they have made a strong start to the new campaign.
Josh Coburn scored both goals in the victory over Bristol City to seal all three points for Neil's side, although the result was overshadowed by an injury to Azeez, who picked up a knock in the first half.

The injury initially appeared to be minor, but it raised doubts over whether the Nigerian forward would be fit enough to face Norwich.
Azeez ruled out of Millwall's clash with Norwich
Neil had earlier revealed that Azeez's injury was not serious and had hoped the forward would recover in time for Saturday's game.
However, speaking during his pre-match press conference, the Millwall boss confirmed that the Norwich fixture had come too soon for the Nigerian. Neil praised his side's performance against Bristol City and admitted he was looking forward to another difficult test against this weekend.

“We've had a good result with a good performance and we obviously want to try to put another one in at home”, Neil said, via BBC Sport.
“I'm going into Saturday's game optimistic but with an air of trepidation as usual, because Norwich are a very good side and we're going to have to be at it.
“He's got a slight strain, which is not significant, but it's going to be a little bit too soon for Fem”, Neil said of Azeez.
Chelle sweating on Azeez's fitness
The Super Eagles will begin their campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month, which makes Azeez's fitness an important concern for Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle.
Nigeria will need as many of their key players available as possible to avoid a slow start to the qualifiers. Azeez only made his Super Eagles debut during the 2026 Unity Cup tournament, but he quickly made an impression and played himself into contention for a regular place in the national team.
The Millwall forward scored twice in the semi-final against Zimbabwe and was also influential in Nigeria's final victory over Jamaica.

With the AFCON qualifiers coming up soon, Chelle will hope Azeez returns to action quickly and continues the form that has attracted interest from Premier League clubs, including Brighton, while Hull City have also been linked with the Nigerian.
The 25-year-old will now target a return when Millwall travel to face Southampton in their third league game of the season next weekend.
