​Daniel Daga Signs New Contract

​Flying Eagles star Daniel Daga has secured a new, improved contract with Norwegian giants Molde.

​He originally joined the club from Enyimba in 2025. He went through a trying period when he was accused of sexual assault, which kept him out of football for over a year, but he has since returned to action.

​Daga has been impressive for the club, and with his contract set to expire next year, the management moved to secure his services for the long term. Under the new deal, he will remain at Molde until the summer of 2031 — a clear testament to how much the club believes in him.

​Vince Osuji Leaves Club Brugge

​Young Nigerian defender Vince Osuji has left Belgian champions Club Brugge for Norwegian Eliteserien side Tromsø IL. The 20-year-old center-back joined Blauw-Zwart from Swedish club Kalmar FF in January 2025, but he struggled to secure regular playing time. He featured in only three senior matches, making most of his appearances for the reserve team, Club NXT.

​Now, he has completed a move to Tromsø. The club has grown tremendously over the past three years and currently sits third in the Eliteserien, seven points behind league leaders Bodø/Glimt. Osuji will hope to continue his development there and potentially earn a move to a bigger club in the future.

​Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Peter Agba has completed a transfer from Israeli club Maccabi Haifa to Hungarian champions ETO FC.

​The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has moved frequently over the last four years, featuring for clubs such as NK Zagorec, Dubrava, and Olimpija before joining Maccabi Haifa last year.

​Now, he has joined ETO FC on a season-long loan. As the reigning champions of Hungary look to defend their title, Agba will also have familiar company, linking up with former Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun.

​William Agada Leaves Spain for Israel

​Bauchi-born Nigerian striker William Agada has parted ways with Spanish club Real Zaragoza. The 26-year-old spent the bulk of his earlier career in Israel, playing there from 2018 until 2022, when he moved to Sporting Kansas City. He spent four years in the United States before returning to Europe with Zaragoza in January.

​Unfortunately, that stint did not go as planned, with Agada featuring in just three games.

​Now, he has returned to Israel to sign with Hapoel Haifa, a club seeking to reclaim past glory after last winning the league title in 1999.

​Peter Ambrose Leaves Aberdeen for Xamax

​Nigerian striker Peter Ambrose has joined Neuchâtel Xamax from Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen.

​He originally joined Aberdeen from Újpest in 2024 but struggled for regular first-team minutes. Last season, he was loaned out to Diósgyőr in Hungary.

​He has now ended his spell with the Scottish side after completing a permanent move to Xamax for an undisclosed fee, where the 24-year-old will look to make a strong impact.
