Eintracht Frankfurt have added Nigeria-eligible goalkeeper Noah Atubolu to their plans as the 24-year-old considers his next move away from SC Freiburg, Soccernet.ng reports.
According to Sky Sport Germany, Frankfurt are watching Atubolu as they assess their goalkeeper options. The Bundesliga club already have Kaua Santos and Michael Zetterer under contract, but Atubolu has entered the picture as another option for the position.
The interest comes as competition for the Freiburg goalkeeper grows. Napoli and Juventus made contact over a possible deal earlier in the summer, while Marseille have also been linked with the player. Freiburg have reportedly rejected a bid from Marseille for Atubolu, who has not hidden his desire for the Premier League above all others.
Reports have also connected Atubolu with Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

Why Atubolu is attracting Frankfurt, others
Atubolu has built his career at Freiburg after joining the club's youth system in 2015. He made his first-team debut in the 2022-23 season and has since become the club's first-choice goalkeeper. Bundesliga records list him with 94 league appearances through May 2026.
His 2025-26 campaign took his profile higher. Atubolu helped Freiburg reach the Europa League final, where they lost 3-0 to Aston Villa on May 20. He also played in both legs of Freiburg's 5-2 aggregate win over Genk in the round of 16.
The goalkeeper is listed by Freiburg as German and Nigerian. That makes his club future important to Nigeria's goalkeeping plans. He has represented Germany from Under-17 to Under-21 level and received senior call-ups, but he was not selected for Germany's 2026 World Cup squad.
Freiburg's position could also shape the transfer. Atubolu has a contract until 2027, while reports have put his expected fee at about €25 million to €30 million.
