The club’s overall performance has been equally poor. Wolves have been relegated from the Premier League with five games still to play, marking a season to forget for the fans and a dismal end to their eight-year stay in the English top flight.

A recent report by Molineux News revealed that former Wolves coach Vitor Pereira, who began the season with the club, never actually wanted Arokodare on his roster.
But unfortunately for him, it turned out that the sporting director Domenico Teti forced the player on the Portuguese coach, who eventually budged. This explains why the Nigerian striker lacked consistent playing time during Pereira's tenure.
