Blackburn Rovers head coach Michael O'Neill has heaped praise on Super Eagles right-back Ryan Alebiosu following their victory against Millwall yesterday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The first half ended goalless, but Millwall broke the deadlock nine minutes after the restart via Luke Kundle, assisted by Super Eagles hopeful Femi Azeez.
Still, it was the Rovers who needed the victory more, since they're battling to stay above the relegation spots in the EFL Championship.
O'Neill's side drew level in the 80th minute. Alebiosu's run forward saw him square the ball for Mathias Jørgensen to tap the ball home.

Ryan Alebiosu draws praise from Blackburn Rovers coach
Alebiosu saw his goal attempt go just wide a minute later before Jørgensen grabbed the winner for Rovers five minutes before the final whistle.
After the game, the club's coach, Michael O'Neill, was pleased by how his side turned the game around, singling Alebiosu out for praise.
“It’s a massive three points for us after a difficult week after losing on Wednesday night,” the Northern Irishman told RoversTV.

“We said to the players that we had to be up for the fight in the early stages of the game, and we certainly were against a very powerful Millwall team, who are in a great run of form.
“We also had to be brave enough to play, and I thought we were. Some of our play in the first half was excellent, and we defended by keeping the ball and by stopping an onslaught of long balls into the box and having to deal with second balls.
“We could have been better in the final third, we know that, but I thought overall that our first half performance was very good.
“We were disappointed to lose the goal, but when we had the extra man, I thought our play was excellent, because that’s not always easy.
“I was pleased with the goals we scored and the movement on the side, particularly from Ryan [Alebiosu], who I thought was brilliant.
“Yuri [Ribeiro], on the other side, Mori [Ryoya Morishita], too, I thought we controlled the game well, we didn’t panic, and we got our rewards,” the former Stoke City coach concluded.

Blackburn's win against Millwall takes them to 19th place on the EFL Championship table with eight league games to spare.
