Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was on target in Real Madrid's 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, Soccernet.ng reports.
Atletico's passiveness in the middle of the pitch gave Real Madrid several chances to find the back of the net, but they didn't pounce first.
Alvaro Arbeloa's side needed all three points to continue in the race for the La Liga title with Barcelona.

Atletico vs Real Madrid: Lookman scores second La Liga goal
Los Blancos came closest to breaking the deadlock inside nine minutes. He outpaced Matteo Ruggeri before placing the ball into the bottom corner, only for the inside of the crossbar to deny the Uruguayan.
In the 33rd minute, Lookman opened the scoring. After a quick exchange of passes with Ruggeri and Simeone, the Nigerian tapped home to score his second La Liga goal of the season.
Atletico Madrid went into half-time as the leaders, but the second half brought a huge twist in the game.
In the 51st minute, Real Madrid were awarded a penalty after Brahim Diaz was brought down by David Hancko. Vinicius Junior stepped up to take the resulting penalty, and he sent Musso the wrong way to restore parity.
Three minutes later, Federico Valverde turned the game in Real Madrid's favour. The midfielder has been in good form of late, and popped up with another goal.
A misplaced pass from Rugerri fell into Gimenez's path, but the defender was too slow to react. Valverde pounced and hit the ball with the outside of his right foot to put the record UEFA Champions League winners ahead.

Lookman was replaced by Nahuel Molina, while Sorloth came on for Antoine Griezmann, but Molina was the one who got the equaliser for Diego Simeone's men, hitting the ball from about 30 yards out, and Lunin stood no chance.

Still, Vinicius came up trumps again. Alexander-Arnold darted into Atletico's box, feinting past Koke in the process, before unexpectedly switching play out to the left for Vinicius.
