Former Getafe midfielder Javier Casquero has urged Sevilla to hire Jose Bordalas to get the best out of Super Eagles striker, Akor Adams, Soccernet.ng reports.
The record UEFA Europa League winners parted ways with Argentine manager Matias Almeyda after a poor run of results that saw them win just one of eight league games.
Akor Adams is currently the club's top scorer (7), but that number could've easily doubled under proper tutelage.

Casquero tips Bordalas to coach Akor Adams at Sevilla
Jose Bordalas has been in charge of Getafe since September 2016, although he spent a year at Valencia in between.
However, despite the club's very little financial input, the Spanish tactician has managed to keep Los Azulones in the top-flight league, while churning out top talents like Christantus Uche.

While Luis Garcia is currently in charge of the team, Casquero, who played over 130 games for Sevilla, urged the club board to go all out for Bordalas.
“Getafe do not have a better team than Sevilla, and they're 8th on the Spanish table,” the 50-year-old said in quotes revealed by ABC Espana.
“Getafe have a man (Bordalás) who coaches Lucien Agoumé, and you think he is Patrick Vieira, and he coaches Akor Adams, and you think it is Drogba.
“It’s like that, it’s a crazy thing,” the one-time Segunda Liga winner concluded.

Akor Adams is currently on International duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they look to take on Iran and Jordan after failing to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
