Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was the victim of a robbery at his London residence on Monday night, Soccernet.ng reports.

​According to accounts, intruders burgled his home and held him at knifepoint before carting away several personal belongings.

The robbers stole his expensive jewelry, luxury watches, a MacBook, two iPhones, and an estimated £200,000 in cash. The total value of the stolen items is approximately £500,000.

​After taking the items while holding Iwobi under duress, the assailants fled the scene. Fortunately, the 29-year-old midfielder was not physically harmed during the ordeal. However, by the time the police arrived, the culprits had already escaped.

​This is a terrible experience for the Nigerian international, who is a firm fan favorite at Craven Cottage. Iwobi has been a consistent performer for Fulham since arriving from Everton in a €25.7 million (£22m) deal in 2023.
