Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored a goal and provided an assist for Galatasaray in their 4-0 thrashing of Kayserispor at Rams Park on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old Super Eagles hitman stepped up to take a penalty in the 28th minute, dispatching it with skill to give his side a two-goal lead. He later provided the assist for Gabriel Sara's goal in the 60th minute.
That victory ensured Galatasaray maintained their position at the summit of the Super Lig table. However, for Osimhen, the match represented a significant personal milestone.

That strike was his 200th career goal for club and country combined—a feat that few top-class players can boast of.
In this article, we break down how Osimhen reached this landmark moment in his career.
Breakdown of Victor Osimhen's Career Goals
Of his total tally, 165 of Victor Osimhen’s career goals have come at the club level. While he was unable to find the net at his first professional club, Wolfsburg, he truly began his scoring exploits at Royal Charleroi, where he contributed 20 goals in 36 appearances.

The Super Eagles striker stepped it up a notch at Napoli following his €75 million move. During his time in Italy, he registered 76 goals in 133 games, leading the club to their first Serie A title in over 30 years.

Osimhen made such an impact at Napoli that he was frequently likened to the legendary Diego Armando Maradona.
Now at Galatasaray, he has made his presence felt once again. The Super Eagles star boasts a jaw-dropping goal-to-game ratio, finding the net in almost every match he plays.
He has registered 51 goals in 61 appearances for the Cimbom since joining. He also played a pivotal role in leading them to the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup titles last season.

The remainder of Osimhen's goals have been scored for Nigeria’s Super Eagles. He is currently the second-highest goalscorer in the nation's history, trailing only the late Rashidi Yekini.
Osimhen has scored 35 goals for the Super Eagles and needs just three more to surpass Yekini's long-standing record.
The Galatasaray marksman will be hoping to continue delivering for both club and country as he cements his legacy as one of Africa’s greatest-ever players.
