Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi got off the bench to score for Porto in their 3-1 win over Arouca, Soccernet.ng reports.
Porto continued their push for the title on Friday night when they welcomed mid-table Arouca to the Estádio do Dragão. Moffi, who has been playing second fiddle to Deniz Gül since the injury to Samu Aghehowa, started on the bench but was introduced in the 60th minute.

However, ten minutes after his introduction, Porto—who had been leading—were pegged back by a strike from Nais Djouahra.
The Dragons had to leave it late to secure the vital three points, with William Gomes scoring from the penalty spot at the 90-minute mark.
Then, just before the full-time whistle, Moffi found the net. Porto launched a quick counter-attack after Arouca left spaces at the back in search of an equalizer.

The Nigerian striker got on the end of a cross from William Gomes and struck a shot into the roof of the net to make it 3-1.

The goal marks his first for the Portuguese giants since joining from French club OGC Nice in the summer, and he will be looking to continue finding the back of the net.
With his strike, he will be hoping that coach Francesco Farioli seriously consider making him a regular starter.
Moreover, with European competitions set to resume in two weeks, the manager will undoubtedly need to rotate the team, meaning Moffi should soon see an increase in his playing time.

In fact, Moffi has a lot of experience playing and scoring goals in the UEFA Europa League. So, he could be a useful weapon for the team going into their round of 16 match-up in the competition.
