Super Eagles and Birmingham City defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has revealed what he plans to do when he retires from actively playing football, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old played six of Nigeria's seven games at the AFCON 2025 tournament and was one of the standout performers for Eric Chelle's men in Morocco.
While he's made the Super Eagles' right-back position his own, Osayi has begun making plans for life after football as well.

Osayi-Samuel reveals post-retirement football ambition
The ex-Fenerbahce man was born in Nigeria, but he spent his years as a toddler growing up in Madrid, Spain. His family eventually moved to England, where he actively pursued a football career.
However, the winger-turned-right-back revealed his parents were very intentional about grounding him in the Nigerian culture.
As such, he wants to make it a calling to help aspiring footballers achieve their dreams when his career on the pitch comes to a close.
“I think since last year, going back to Nigeria, going back to my state [Edo], it made me realise there are lots of people who want to be footballers but don't have the opportunity,” the former QPR man said in an interview with Oma Akatugba.

“So, I think after football [when I retire], I'd love to go back and help as much as I can. With this tournament that I've started, it's been two years now.
“I want to keep going every year, make it bigger and take some scouts with me as well.
“To be fair, it's good now because even in the camp [Super Eagles camp in Morocco], Frank Onyeka asked me about the tournament, and he also wants to join in.
“We're thinking of doing it together, and that's exactly what I want. We want to get as many players to get involved, even my club, Birmingham City.
“I'm speaking to see if we can have a collab next summer to send some people over there and give out some shirts and kits.
“Those are the type of things I want to do when I finish football. When I have to give back, I'll do my absolute best,” Osayi concluded.
