The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face the Cranes of Uganda in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) Group C game tomorrow at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, Soccernet.ng reports.

Heading into the tournament, the Super Eagles had waves of uncertainty above their heads as they were without three key players.

William Troost-Ekong bowed out of the Nigerian National team, while Ola Aina and young Benjamin Frederick were unable to make Chelle's AFCON 2025 squad due to long-term injuries.

However, they've done well in their opening two games, defeating Tanzania and Tunisia, with Uganda the only country left to face in Group C.

Soccernet.ng predicts the Super Eagles’ lineup with the players available for the game against Uganda.

Predicted Super Eagles Starting XI vs Uganda

Goalkeeper: Stanley Nwabali's display against Tanzania and Tunisia raised many questions about the Chippa United goalkeeper's composure, as his error gifted Tunisia a goal.

After the game, the 29-year-old goalkeeper confirmed he's been struggling with ankle and wrist injuries. With the clash against Uganda being a dead rubber game, it only makes sense for Eric Chelle to at least give his number one goalie a rest.

Amas Obasogie's inexperience on the big stage puts him out of contention, and while many might not agree, the fingers point to Francis Uzoho, for his experience at least, to start against Uganda.

Defenders: Bright Osayi-Samuel has been Chelle's first choice right-back for the opening two games, and while the occasion might call for Ryan Alebiosu's debut, it'll be safer if he comes on in the game when the tide is settled.

Like Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi has started Nigeria's opening two fixtures. However, many would agree he should be kept fresh for the next round, with Chidozie Awaziem coming in to add to his 37 Super Eagles caps.

Calvin Bassey has been rock-solid at the back, and his starting is no question. Bruno Onyemaechi's performance against Tunisia should be enough to earn him a starting spot against Uganda.

Midfielders: Frank Onyeka was superb against Tunisia and should take the holding midfielder role with Ndidi dropping to the bench to get some rest.

To bring some composure to the ball into midfield, especially for a team like Uganda, Raphael Onyedika would be a good partner in midfield for the former FC Augsburg midfielder.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro would feature slightly ahead of the duo, as Chelle will most likely maintain a diamond 4-4-2 formation, leaving Chidera Ejuke to play on the left.

Forwards: The partnership between Akor Adams and Victor Osimhen has flourished since the World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.

Without a doubt, the duo will be the best choice to lead the line against Uganda tomorrow, although their gametime should be limited to avoid possible injury or fatigue.

The line-up in full: Francis Uzoho; Bright Osayi Samuel; Chidozie Awaziem, Calvin Bassey, Bruno Onyemaechi; Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika; Ebenezer Akinsanmiro; Chidera Ejuke; Akor Adams, Victor Osimhen.
