Chiamaka Nnadozie reached a hattrick of Golden Glove awards on Wednesday
Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has congratulated Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie following her Golden Glove Award win at the CAF Awards ceremony on Wednesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nnadozie clinched her third consecutive Golden Glove Award at the CAF Awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco.
Her success was not a surprise, given her status as one of the continent's best players this year.
She had a great campaign with her former club Paris FC and also played a crucial role in the Super Falcons' victory at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Nnadozie was almost flawless in goal throughout the WAFCON tournament, keeping four clean sheets in four of Nigeria’s games. Hence, her Golden Glove Award at the CAF Best was well-deserved.
Following her win, Nnadozie has earned plaudits from Super Eagles stars including Stanley Nwabali and Adebayo Adeleye.

Even Omeruo, who was part of the Nigerian team that won gold at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, publicly congratulated her.
On his Instagram page, Omeruo posted a picture of Nnadozie alongside Morocco's winner of the men's Golden Glove category and captioned it, “Congratulations star girl…Three times is no joke.”

Chiamaka Nnadozie is clearly the best goalkeeper in Africa, and by a mile. She has been consistent in between the sticks for the Super Falcons over the years.
She has also been great at club level. She was brilliant at Paris FC, and she has continued to improve English club Brighton Women.
Nnadozie will likely dominate the African scene for a long time, as she is just 24. If she continues to shine, she might even win the holy grail, which is the CAF Player of the Year.
