‘Declan Rice' crooner Odumodublvck has revealed emotions relayed by Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen in Nigeria's 4-0 win over the Republic of Benin, Soccernet.ng reports.
Eric Chelle's side needed to defeat the Cheetahs of Benin by at least a four-goal margin at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo yesterday evening.
Osimhen scored three minutes into the game to settle any early nerves, and then added another two goals later on in the game before he was withdrawn in the 81st minute by Tolu Arokodare.

Despite Osimhen's hat-trick, the three-time AFCON Champions still needed a goal to secure qualification via the play-offs since South Africa had already put three past Rwanda to qualify directly for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for the first time since they hosted the competition in 2010.
Brentford midfielder, Frank Onyeka, came on in the 74th minute, but his mazy run paid off as he found Nigeria's much-needed fourth goal, sending a well-placed volley into Marcel Dandjinou's goal.
Odumodublvck reveals what Osimhen said
With Onyeka's goal coming in the 91st minute, the ‘Industry machine' crooner mentioned he got on a call with the Galatasaray striker after the game to celebrate their performance after they gave themselves another chance to qualify for the World Cup via play-offs.
Instead, Odumodu revealed Osimhen admitted he was in tears when Frank Onyeka put the ball into the back of the net to rekindle the hopes of the Nation.

Following the heartbreak that happened after Nigeria lost their World Cup spot to Ghana in 2022, it is understandable why Osimhen's emotions are palpable to several fans of the Super Eagles.
The fighting spirit was on display last night as a huge chunk of these players haven't featured at the Mundial.
From Eric Chelle's most recent squad, only William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, and Wilfred Ndidi were a part of Gernot Rohr's 23-man team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
