Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has stated that his first goal against Karagumruk on Saturday is not the best goal he has scored in his career, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onuachu stole the show when Trabzonspor locked horns with Karagumruk at the Ataturk Stadium on Saturday.
After his side went behind, the Super Eagles supplied two goals before halftime to help them get back into the lead.
Onuachu's first goal was what made the headlines though, as it was a stunner.
The 31-year-old striker reacted quickest to a cross from Wagner Pina and struck the ball with an overhead kick that caught the goalkeeper unawares.

However, despite the beauty of that goal, Onuachu has insisted that he doesn't believe that was the best goal of his career.
The former Southampton man stated that the best goal of his career was actually last year, against Konyaspor. That goal was even nominated for the Puskas Award and finished 10th.

“I'm happy the team won, and I'm even more happy that I scored. It was a good match for us today…,” Onuachu said, per Fanatik.
“I watched the goal I scored again. It's good that you reminded me of it, and I also remembered the goal I scored against Konyaspor.
“I need to look at both, but I can say the goal I scored against Konyaspor was better than the goal I scored today.”
Will Paul Onuachu's Goal Be Nominated For The Puskas Award?
Although Paul Onuachu's goal was a banger, it is very unlikely that it will be nominated for the Puskas Award at the FIFA Best Awards.
His goal was an overhead kick, but that kind of goal is scored like everyday across all the leagues in the world.
As such, Onuachu would have to produce a another banger if he wants to be nominated for the Puskas Award this war.
