Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi nicked a goal and an assist for Fulham in their 3-1 victory over Brentford at Craven Cottage on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Iwobi produced another solid performance under the lights in Craven Cottage, on a night when the entire Fulham showed their tough mentality.
Fulham conceded first in the 20th minute, courtesy of a goal from Mikkel Damsgaard. The Danish man latched onto a poor pass from 18-year-old Josh King in front of Fulham's area, and sent a well-placed finish past Bernrd Leno.
But in what was an emotional moment, Iwobi quickly ran to the young King, who was beating himself for the goal and tried to calm him down and help him get his head into the game.

Alex Iwobi is 29, eleven years older than King. And although the Super Eagles star's gesture was overlooked, it might have been very crucial for Fulham.
For an 18-year-old, who just became a regular this year, that kind of mistake could cause him to lose his composure and confidence, and that would have affected the entire team.
But with Iwobi, who is a senior colleague and a leader on the team encouraging him, it would have definitely been a morale booster for the young lad
Iwobi later turned up with the goods though, as he scored and assisted another to help his team claim all three points with a comfortable 3-1 win that could have been 4-1, had VAR not ruled out Rodrigo Muniz's goal.
Next up for the Cottagers is an EFL Cup game against Cambridge United at Craven Cottage on Tuesday.
