Newly appointed Al Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi has given his approval for the Saudi giants to push forward in their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.

Multiple reports have linked the Nigerian international with a move to Saudi Arabia for more than a year now. Further reports reveal that talks are ongoing over a potential summer move.

Inzaghi, who was officially unveiled as Al Hilal's new head coach on a contract running until June 2027, has reportedly endorsed the club’s efforts to secure Osimhen’s signature.

Fabrizio Romano indicates that discussions are now focused on convincing the former LOSC Lille forward and his camp to accept personal terms.

Al Hilal’s new project under Inzaghi comes with serious ambition. The Italian tactician has reportedly signed a lucrative two-year deal worth €26 million per season, which shows the Saudi Pro League club’s commitment to battling for the top spot in the coming season.

Osimhen remains a priority target for the Riyadh-based outfit after an impressive stint with Galatasaray—scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions—and Inzaghi’s thumbs-up is expected to accelerate negotiations as Al Hilal aims to beat rivals to his signature.
