Nigeria and Sevilla centre-forward, Akor Jerome Adams, has revealed why he joined the Spanish La Liga side despite interest from other European clubs, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old moved to Spain in the winter transfer window after a rocky spell with French Ligue 2 side, Herault Montpellier, although they were in the top-flight at the time.
Adams had a tough start to life at Seville due to injuries, but that hasn't stopped him from appreciating the opportunity to express himself with the seven-time UEFA Europa League winners.

“I think leaving Montpellier in January was a good decision that my agent and I thought would be best for the next step.
“I saw the projects of several clubs. I knew what was happening at the time, so I wasn't oblivious, but the project they put forth made me understand they're not expecting an instant impact.
“Instead, they made me realise they're building something they wanted me to be an important part of, so I knew what I was going into. So all the speculations weren't true,” the Super Eagles hopeful said.
“We have vibes, we're different. You can't be a Nigerian if you're not, you can't fake it. Ejuke is a fantastic guy, and Kelechi, we all know, he's an amazing guy; he carries everyone in the room, trust me.
“In an environment where both of them are there, you want to go to training every morning. He was there for a month, and it was all bliss,” the 1.9m tall striker concluded.
For fans following Akor Adams and other Nigerian players in Spain, knowing where to bet on La Liga matches from Nigeria can add extra excitement to each game, as long as you play responsibly.
Three games after his return to the pitch, he picked up another muscle injury that kept him out until the end of the season.
